"Eléré" is the Yoruba word for orchestra, and refers to musical groups in spiritual or ceremonial settings.

An 8-piece Salsa band founded in late 2019 in Seattle, Washington, Eléré's musical quest is dedicated to honoring the human experience—the relationship between individual and collective—and the elements of the natural world that create balance and harmony

Led by conguero Daniel Mendoza and guitarist Carlos Snaider, these three songs were crafted and recorded in the years 2021-2022. "Subrayate" (Highlight Yourself) is an extended meditation on inner knowing as a gateway to meeting the collective. "Aguacero" (Downpour) celebrates the life giving powers of waters, with its transience, continuity, and ability to transform an environment in the form of a downpour. "Que Se Puede Hacer" (What Can We Do) is an anthem to the musical collectivity present in Eléré, at a time and place where the arts suffer from corporate interests and materialism.
